Kineret follows Russian speaking migrants in Israel across generations, from elderly immigrants from the former Soviet Union to a younger generation newly displaced by war in Russia and Ukraine. In a high-rise on the outskirts and in the cities, their lives unfold in parallel, shaped by memory, migration, and fragile stability. The film brings together fragmented conversations and everyday situations to observe how personal histories persist within a present marked by instability and competing narratives of belonging.
